I graduated from Florida State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Currently, I am a Senior Parole and Probation Officer with the Florida Department of Corrections. I have served the State of Florida and the citizens of Pasco County for over 15 years. I was appointed as a police liaison and assigned to the Pasco County Sheriff’s office nearly 8 years ago. During this tenure, I have worked with almost every facet of Criminal Justice, including but not limited to:
- Criminal investigations
- Fugitive apprehension
- Creating and leading fugitive apprehension initiatives and proactive investigations on sexual offenders
- Criminal sentencing reccomendations
I believe in being a responsible and active member in my community. My past and current involvement continues to combine my criminal justice and athletic experiences. I was an Assistant Coach at Mitchell High School for many years and believe in mentoring our youth and providing a positive support system for their future. I have given numerous talks to High School and Middle School football teams regarding gangs and drugs. I have also participated in numerous “Great American Teach-Ins” speaking about the prison system and criminal justice to students in Pasco County.
I have been a member of the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) for over 15 years.
